What is commitment fee?
The commitment fee is a small, non-refundable amount paid upfront to confirm your order and ensure we only process requests from genuine buyers. It’s deducted from your total price, not an extra charge. Example: If your item costs ₦25,000 and the commitment fee is ₦5,000, you’ll only pay ₦20,000 later.
Why does Trocmart charge a commitment fee?
We introduced the commitment fee to:
- 1. Guarantee that orders come from serious buyers only.
- 2. Prevent fake or unserious orders that waste time and resources.
- 3. Allow our vendors to confidently prepare items for real customers.
4. It’s our way of making sure your shopping experience remains fast, fair, and reliable.
Is the commitment fee refundable?
No, the commitment fee is non-refundable, even if you cancel your order later. However, it’s deducted from the total price of the item when you complete payment. This means you never lose its value when you follow through with your order.
When will my item be delivered?
Estimated timeframe is between 7 to 15days.
When do I pay the commitment fee?
You’ll be asked to pay the commitment fee immediately after placing an order — whether you’re paying on delivery or through installments. Your order will not be processed or reserved until the commitment fee has been successfully paid.
Installment Information
How does Pay Small-Small work?
Shop fashion, Beauty & Skincare, then pay in easy weekly or monthly installments. Once you complete your installments, we initiate your order with the vendor and we ship your item to you once we recieve the item and inspect it.
Do I need to pay full price at once?
No. Pay at your pace and get your item delivered to you when your done.
Can I pay off my installments early?
Yes. You can clear the entire remaining balance anytime to finish your plan faster.
When will my item be delivered?
After you complete your installments. Then your order is shipped to you. Takes about 2weeks.
Do you have referrals?
Yes. Invite friends and earn rewards when they shop on installments and meet the threshold. Rewards are credited to your referal balance.
Payment Information
What’s the shipping fee?
Shipping fees are not included in your installment payments. You’ll pay for shipping separately once your full payment is complete, in accordance with the logistics company’s policy.

What payment methods can I use?
We process payments via Paystack (cards, bank transfers, USSD, etc.) and Pay on delivery.
Order Returns
Can I cancel my installment order?
Yes, but a 10% cancellation fee applies. If you cancel—or the system auto-cancels—your paid installments (excluding the service fee) are refunded to your refund wallet.
What if my product is out of stock?
We’ll refund your installments in full to your refund wallet.
What if I don’t finish paying?
You’ll have a 30-days grace period after you default on any installments of your order. If payment isn’t completed, the order is auto-cancelled and a 10% cancellation fee applies.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are credited to your refund wallet. You can withdraw anytime and an OTP is required for security.
Can I cancel after I’ve finished paying all installments?
No. Once all installments are fully paid, cancellation isn’t possible.
