Trocmart Terms of Service | Installment-Only Marketplace

By accessing or using the Trocmart website (www.trocmart.com) or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our platform.

1. Definitions

Platform – Trocmart website and related services.
Products – Items listed for sale on Trocmart.
Installment Plan – Payment plans split into multiple payments.
Final Payment – Completion of the last installment required for fulfillment.
Refund Balance Wallet – A virtual wallet for storing refunds.
Purchase Balance Wallet – A deposit wallet used only to start or make installment payments. No refunds or transfers are allowed.
Business Days – Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use Trocmart. You must have a verifiable email, phone number, and bank account in Nigeria.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate details, maintain account security, and notify us of unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for fraudulent or abusive activity.

4. How It Works (Pay Small Small)

Trocmart is an installment-only eCommerce platform.
Choose your item and payment plan (weekly or monthly).
Orders are only shipped after full payment is completed.
You can pay off your installment early to get your item faster.

5. Product Availability

Product availability is not guaranteed until final payment is made. If out of stock:

Choose another item of equal value, or
Request a full refund to your Refund Balance Wallet.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping begins only after final payment is confirmed.
Estimated delivery is 3–4 weeks.
We are not liable for courier delays or inaccurate delivery details.

7. Pricing, Fees & Payment Terms

All prices are in NGN and include VAT (if applicable).
A non-refundable service fee may apply.
Missed payments may lead to cancellation with fees.

8. Purchase Balance Wallet

The Purchase Balance Wallet is a deposit wallet used to fund your installment purchases.

All deposits go into your Purchase Balance Wallet.
Funds in this wallet can only be used to start or make installment payments.
No refunds or wallet-to-wallet transfers are allowed from the Purchase Balance Wallet.
Please be certain before depositing funds, as all deposits are final.

If you use your Purchase Balance Wallet to start an installment and make your first payment, then choose to cancel:

Your order will be cancelled.
10% of the first installment will be deducted as a cancellation fee.
The balance (minus the 10%) will be refunded to your Refund Balance Wallet.

9. Refunds and Cancellations

9.1 Before Final Payment

You may cancel before completing payment. Refunds are issued to your Refund Balance Wallet, minus applicable cancellation fees.

9.2 After Final Payment

No cancellations allowed. If item is unavailable, a full refund will be issued to your Refund Balance Wallet.

9.3 Refund Balance Wallet

Refunds are stored in your wallet and can be reused or withdrawn to your bank (processing time: up to 48 business hours).

10. Returns and Exchange

No returns for change of mind.
Returns allowed only for defective or incorrect items.
You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery for resolution.

11. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the platform lawfully and not engage in fraud, hacking, impersonation, or system abuse. Violations may lead to account suspension or legal action.

12. Limitation of Liability

Trocmart is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, courier delays, or item unavailability. Our liability is limited to the value of your order.

13. Dispute Resolution

Disputes should first be resolved through our customer service. If unresolved within 30 days, they may be escalated to arbitration under Nigerian law.
